Newcastle Amnesty group is a group of ordinary people who live in the area who are prepared to give a few hours each month in the cause of human rights.
Amnesty worldwide has few employees and relies on volunteers for most of its work.
As a group, we have some local successes; re-affirming the fact that Amnesty International makes a difference.
