Amnesty South Midlands region

South Midlands region part of Amnesty UK section stretches from Newbury, Reading, and Bracknell in the south to Bicester and Bedford in the north; in the west is Wantage, in the east, Stevenage, Letchworth, and Welwyn and Hatfield. It includes 30 groups of various characters, from small church-based village groups to large, dynamic town groups. Although not based on any definable English geographical region, South Midlands groups find enough in common for the two annual meetings to be useful: to exchange news, to have additional training, share and sample resources, meet speakers, and give and receive feedback to and from AI-UK staff.
