What We're Doing:
Currently
the Takoma Park, Maryland group is working on the
following campaigns:
- Freeing
Filep Karma
and Yusak Pakage, prisoners of conscience in Indonesia.
- Pressuring the Chinese government to grant a free and fair
trial to a person accused of being involved in counter-revolutionary
activities in Xianjiang province in northwest China.
- Sponsoring the
Human Rights Painting Project.
- Working to repeal Maryland's death penalty.
