Present: Mayra Gomez, Bret Thiele, Hal Bertilson, Susana Pelayo-Woodward, Teri Miyazawa, and Jan Karon.

 National Weekend of Faith in Action on Death Penalty October 20-22.  Mayra and Bret will choose a date for our Faith in Action event.  They will review videos for possible showing and they will talk to several people about being keynote speakers.  Hal will arrange for a venue at UW-Superior once the date is chosen.  Planning for the program will take place via email and at the October Local Group meeting.  Once the date, venue, and program are planned Hal will send out letters to congregations to invite them and their social action committees to participate.
