How do I find Amnesty International events?
Due to the number and independent nature of local groups, and the great number of ways that AI members can advertise their events, there is unfortunately no one place where you can be sure of finding all the Amnesty International-sponsored events happening in Southern California. Here is a list of places in which you can look.
Western Region Event Calendar at AIUSA site
Your first stop should be the official AIUSA web site, the central clearing house, where there is a list of events happening throught the western region (not just Southern California). Events will be listed here if the organizers have asked the national office to post their event.
Southern California Cluster Event Calendar
In September 2009 we have added a web-based event calendar to this site, in the hope that community or student groups will use this resource to post their events. We can always create a page at this site specifically for your event if you let the site maintainer know with enough advance notice.
Group calendars for community groups or student groups
Local groups will list any events they plan at their individual website. We try to keep current the list of links to a group’s website when a group has one. Look at the pages for community groups and student groups.

Regional Activist Event Calendars (non-AI)
Some organizations maintain event calendars that will list AI events as well as other events. We will list some of those here with the caveat that AIUSA does not necessarily endorse, sponsor or approve of all the events that you will find at these sites.
Social Networks
Some of the groups will advertise their events through social networking sites such as Facebook, Google Groups, Yahoo! Groups, etc. If you know of any that are open to subscribers, please let the site maintainer know and we will add them here.
